Is It Safe for a Baby to Sleep in an Incline Bed With a Swaddle or Sleep Sack?

It’s best not to use a blanket or swaddle in combination with an Incline Baby Bed for safety reasons.

Here’s the safe way to use it.

Sleep sack only (no swaddle, no blanket)

Use a breathable, sleeveless sleep sack that keeps your baby warm without loose fabric. Swaddling or adding a blanket increases the risk of overheating or suffocation, especially when the baby is inclined.

Strap baby in securely

Always buckle or strap your baby in — this prevents them from sliding down the incline.

No blanket tucked under or over

Do not tuck a blanket into the crib or underneath your baby. Loose items in a sleep area can increase SIDS risk.
